Meet the CREW!
What sets our shop apart from the others is the team we have.
Highly Skilled Shop Team
Our shop team is a cut above the rest. The individual skills of each team member is quite impressive. But the collective skill set represented in the Cimtex Rods team is what truly makes the work at Cimtex Rods exceptional. The skills and achievements of each individual team member can be seen in the finished product delivered to each and every customer.

Russell Winchell
Mechanic/Technician
I have been working in the industry for over 12 years. I started my first job in a body shop during high school, although I have been working on cars since I was a little kid. This work keeps me on my toes and keeps my skills sharp. I like learning new things almost daily, and I am lucky to be able to work with such a skilled and knowledgeable team at Cimtex Rods. I also enjoy building relationships with our customers and learning more about their vehicles and what they mean to them. I graduated from Wyotech automotive and business, and earned certifications with ASE, A/C refrigeration, All Data, and ICAR (Gold and Platinum). I am proud of the work Cimtex Rods delivers to our customers, and I treat each customer's vehicle as if it were my own. When not at work, I enjoy taking my family camping and to car shows, and of course, I have my own vehicle projects to wrench on during the weekends.

Fabrication/Mechanic Shop Manager
Fabrication/mechanics shop manager.
I’ve personally built 3 cars, starting with my first car when I was 15. I’ve always dreamed of building the caliber of cars that Cimtex Rods are known for. I’ve been at CimtexRods for 4 years and It’s been a huge learning experience. I like coming up with ideas on how to fabricate something not only better, but better looking. I enjoy making those ideas a reality, applying them and fine tuning until they are perfect. I spent 6 years in the Army, and received numerous awards (stateside and in Iraq) as a Longbow Apache crew-chief/maintenance Sergeant. After the Army, I became an FAA Airframe and Power-plant certified mechanic. I continued working on military aircraft for 10 years and earned several more maintenance awards and citations. As a civilian contractor, I performed repairs on Longbow Apaches, Blackhawks, Hueys, and C-12 Reconnaissance planes. The projects that I’m most proud of are the (Cha-Ching) Camaro, 33 Speed Roadster, 57 Olds Fiesta Wagon, and the 67 Fastback Mustang. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, son, and daughter. I also enjoy working on and drag racing my home built Twin Turbo 89 Mustang. I’m also an avid Bass Fisherman.
